We are deep into Powerlifting here at CrossFit Oso.
We Low Bar, we Press, we Bench, we Deadlift and Power Clean, Snatch and Jerk.  We love our 5s and 3s and believe that legitimate strength takes years to build while conditioning can be positively affected in a matter of weeks. We train in this manner because strength is the most easily controlled trait that can affect performance on the platform, in the gym and in the real world.  Because a stronger athlete is a better athlete and because a stronger person is harder to kill and thus infinitely more useful.

We cycle through strength, power and hypertrophy phases regularly in twelve to sixteen week cycles and have found that our athletes have seen the greatest benefits this way. Every rep, every set, every WOD is carefully planned out to give you the best results. We test and monitor our stress adaptations quarterly or through competition and steer clear of tossing random things at you to cause "muscle confusion" because above all things randomness is not a training methodology - no matter how much popular media wants you to believe this to be true.

We don't sell you shakes, snake oil or weird diets. We show you how to eat like an athlete, expect you to train like an athlete so you can look, feel, and perform like an athlete.

And most importantly, we teach you that the weight you put on your bar each day is far more important than the weight that you see on the bathroom scale.
